I just realized that the Mississippi st. game was on a thursday night. I think im more worried about that game biting LSU in the arse if they are not careful. If we Beat Oregon ...which i think we will do that game could catch us off guard.Im sure the coaching staff is aware and they take one game at a time, but its something to keep in mind

MSU was dominated last year purely by our defense. The two years before that, they came damn close to beating us. It has been what, 11-12 years since MSU last beat LSU? They will come out motivated in that game. Mullen has that team in the right direction. MSU is the ultimate trap game, IMO.

Possibly. We play NSU five days before going to State; State plays Auburn on that same day. You would have to think State cannot hide anything and may be a little more beat up, being a conference game. However, we will be their home opener, so they should be fired up. All that being said, I am glad we do not have a conference game between OU and State.

Yeah the Auburn game and Miss st. game should be interesting to see how Auburn is without Cam Newton being as they almost lost last year against Miss St. with him

We play a game, then a glorified scrimmage, then a game. Should be fine.

Until they show they can hang with LSU, they can't.

We beat them by over 3 TDs last season, in their best season in years, and with literally no offense. I don't understand why folks think LSU is the only team to lose something every year. State lost a good defensive co-ordinator, and we lost a bad offensive co-ordinator. LSU will have at least as good of a defense as last year, and will shut them down again. I'm actually predicting a shutout.

23-0 LSU

I'm much more concerned about going to Knoxville and fricking around and losing than I do to MSU.

We'd really have to frick around. TN is going to be worse this year than last. They have 1...ONE player in the defensive front seven with ANY starts, and they just lost their best player on the entire team in Janzen Jackson, so the secondary will suck too. They have no defense whatsoever. Their offense will be OK, but nothing above average...and if ANYONE gets hurt, they're fricked. They have no depth thanks to Kitten and his shenanigans. Dooley has a large task in front of him, and I wish him well...except on Oct 15th.

Could definitely be a tough game in Knoxville, if we dont go up there ready to play. Last time I was in Knoxville, Reggie White was eating our offensive line up and that stadium bout drove me crazy hearing Rocky Top. Used to like that ole Bluegrass tune till I went to the Tennessee game. MSU will be a typical SEC contest and Mullen has them playing better and better, but I believe we will be ready and this year is just not the year to lose to the Bulldogs. It will one day happen but I just dont believe this year.

It's been said so much at this point I really don't think it is.

Tennessee is moreso to me.
Actually Florida too. They're always talented but no one's talking about them.

Yeah, our normal rotation is 3 games in 14 days, we are just going to have to suck it up.

The way you do your math, it is 3 games in 12 days vs. 3 in 14 days or 5 days after MSU plays Auburn. We are fine.
