What do you think the deer season will be like in NW LA due to the extreme droug

I'm hoping that the swampy area on my land will work like an attractant and pull deer from all the other areas around me that are high and dry.

My swampy area is now a dust bowl. It's definitely going to be about moisture.

I haven't been down there since the first part of the year but as much water as I had backed up because of the beavers, I'm.thinking it would take years to dry up all the way.

I thought that too but the stream the beavers had blocked is now dried up completely. Hell, even Dorcheat is dry enough that we put pallets across it so we can drive across with four wheelers now.

Yea pretty much everywhere will be about water if no significant rain comes soon. My area on BAFB was usually swampy but the last season and looks like this one will be high and dry. Gonna affect the acorn crop as well. May mean deer will have to move more to eat.
