I think JL could have this type of a turnaround if the lights turn on. The stats belong to a certain ACC QB that was considered awful for most of his career and then played lights out during his senior year once he had everything figured out.
Name this QB....

You are correct!
This guy was a terrible scrambler but he turned into a beast throwing the ball.

Did ya'll need the ACC hint or would ya'll have figured it out without it?

Do you guys agree to this comparison if Kragthorpe really did fix JL?

id love nothing more than to see lee have a remarkable senior year after the crap he had to deal with his freshman year. from the nonstop boo'ing to being thrown into a spot, as a freshman, he should have never been in. it would be a storybook ending to his career at LSU to be able to redeem himself. hope he does it. i mean hey, its proven that the mediocre white guys bring LSU the national titles.

Lee could very well have good numbers this year for at least four reasons.
First, I think the play calling will be better vertically than what we had with Crowton. At least, that is what everyone has suggested this spring and summer. It only takes a few long passes to significantly increase the stats.
Second, Kragthorpe has been working with him and that should help him a lot with his mechanics.
Third, the playbook and reads have been simplified since Crowton left.
Fourth, there is an excellent chance that the O-line will have improved its pass blocking even with the recent injuries.
