Hmmm . . . I wonder what happened the last two times a Senior came in as a starter after previously being in a backup role.

Anybody?

I'm thinking ihe should start to use Matt as is first name... Matt Lee. Good things seem to happen with a Matt at our qb spot.

gotta have the name Matt, so that cancels that out.

Mauck wasn't a new starter in 2003. He played SEC championship game in 2001 and half the season 2002 until he got hurt in Floridia

Right. That is why we win the NC in 2012 and 2013.

Matt, a = 1st vowel, 1 championship
Matt, a = 1st vowel, 1 championship
Mett, e = 2nd vowel, 2 championship

Matt mauck was a junior. He left to go to med school but was drafted. Flynn was a senior

Damn now I feel stupid. I could've sworn he was a Senior. I'm getting old, memory is failing me.

Oh well, Junior is close enough... was his last year anyway

Yeah, but Mauck was 23 years old as a Junior!

Here is some "food for thought"! The TIGERS win National Titles with QB's with one syllable last names:

1958 - Rabb
2003 - Mauck
2007 - Flynn
2011 - Lee (?)
