He might have been angry at the football players which led to him jumping in when he saw the fight.
per the Shady's door guy, Lowery had already started the fight outside when the truck pulled up and into the vicinity of the fight.

I agree. If they aren't Tiger players, this goes down as just another bar fight. The "victim" is looking for his 15 minutes after getting his rear whupped at a bar. He's using the Police to get back at JJ and Johns.
Yeah, this is the way the legal system is supposed to work, but it wouldn't be working this way if they weren't Tiger players. It would be pushed under the rug.

Well, time to move forward with Lee. I do not think that Jefferson will be convicted of 2nd degree battery still -- I'm expecting reduced charges -- but I doubt that impacts his suspension.
I'm not even worried about his football status. I worry about him being expelled.

I agree with this TK, but the Andrew's initial story was such BS I have trouble believing these guys just tooted their horn and got a beating for it.
I also understand the players know they may have to face consequences no matter who starts it. I just don't think we should crucify the players.
As many have said since they are first offenders it is likely they won't be punished very harshly legally. Depends on the DA. I think the suspension from the team being lifted will probably depend on what happened.

This will make these student athletes miss class. This is unacceptable.

The Shady's door guy is, well, shady.

If the Shady's guy wanted to help, he'd go to the police with this information. It's not helping anyone if he's only making rounds on TV/radio stations.

My heart goes out to both Jordan Jefferson and Josh Johns. One bad decision should not define your life, and I hope these young men get a second chance and redeem themselves. I also hope the BRPD quits using these young men to pump up their own PR and starts treating them fairly, and I hope the legal system renders justice in the end. Until then, I hope all of Jordan and Josh's teammates pull together and show their support of these two teammates by KICKING evey team's BUTT this year and winning the Ship!
