College Football is the dominant sport talked about in my group of friends year round. Most of us know what we're talking about.
You have some that know what we're talking about, but don't get into it because they can't add anything, which I respect.
Then you have the idiot who knows absolutely nothing and agrees with 1 person all the time regardless of what he says. He'll bring up "Hey ___, I've been pumped about College Football coming up man, not just LSU. I'm really interested in the new Pac12 and Big10 stuff".
You can't discuss sports with those people, and it frustrates me. I really, really hate having to lower my IQ of sports to have a convo

I was talking to this guy that flies in once every week or so on business. He told me he was a big Vikings fan til about 4 years ago. He said it was awesome watching Randall Cunnigham and Cris Carter and Randy Moss but it hurt him too bad when they couldn't get to the Super Bowl that year.

I actually had a longhorn/Dallas fan pull a double "doh!" move last night at work. "y'all are going to suck now that 5 starters are kicked off the team."

My friend openly admits to only caring about the Saints so he knows nothing really and i hate talking sports with him because i have to explain every detail to him. He also gives me months old information because he just found out.
"the Jets beat the Patriots in the playoffs because they had no deep threat"
"what about Moss? And whats that white guys name they got? I love that guy."
"we traded him forever ago. And which one woodhead or welker?"
"Uhh whichever one plays reciever, is that Woodhead?"
What even worse is hes the biggest Favre fan this side of mississippi so he blows him any chance he gets

I let it slide. I hate sounding like that guy, just because it pisses me off when other people do it with other topics. No need to be the buzzkill out on the town.
