Its no win for them, but yeah, from where I sit, they look really bad.

I agree, but this is a pointless thread

really bad, the media blew it wayyy out of proportion and pointed fingers and the BRPD took it like the media actually knew and now they are gonna look like Dummy's!!!

They are a joke... Treat a battery like a homicide just to flex a muscle at LSU.

They must have trained with the Lafayette PD

Or Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff dept... still never got not 1 lead on a serial killer damn

If you listen to Stone talk you would swear that he is these guys lawyer. It is really bizarre to hear. I have NEVER heard the police comment on an ongoing case that way before.

Par for the course. They couldn't catch a serial killer under their noses.

I concur. Look like a bunch of freaking morons.

This shite is getting old. Look, the BRPD is doing EXACTLY what there job is in this case. There is nothing to mad at in their investigation thus far. Even their warrant was signed off by a judge so it had merit.
If you want to be pissed, you should be mad that they do not put this kind of effort into EVERY investigation.
If your son is a C student for 5 years, then studies his arse off and makes an A, are you going to be mad that he made an A or mad that he doesn't make an A all the time?

I call bullshite on them doing exactly there job. It's a witch hunt. Very similar to the case of Mike Vick fighting dogs. Was Vick wrong in wat he did? Of course, but did it warrant headline news, FBI involvement, and a 2 year jail sentence? Mayb so but I want that kind of effort on anybody fighting dogs! Has that happened? Of course not! Same here, there doing there " job" but it's heavily influenced by the situation. And since when is there bar justice ?? If u go 2 the bar and start shite with a crowd of football players u will get ur arse kicked everytime. Kinda like Newtons law, don't test proven theory's .

That's exactly why I said mayb it did. But have u seen dogfighting in the news since?? And I'm pretty sure these dogs still cross state lines. You said it right ( high profile athlete ) . That doesn't change the crime. Peaple fighting dogs is not a high priority of the FBI , and bar fights do not get this type of law enforcement treatment. For the BRPD to succumb to the common reaction of allowing the media leverage in all this is the disgraceful part.

i bet the 50 pairs of shoes confiscated trumps the total amount of evidence combined of every other case similar to this...can't blame the BRPD tho, they don't want to appear to completely flop in the media's amidst the media's field day
