For you guys, absolutely. But LSU isn't dependent on the play at all. At Oregon it's actually an option, but for LSU it would be more of a hand off where Lee could keep the ball if necessary.

Regardless if we base our offense around the option, this play doesn't work without the threat of running QB

And, exactly when would it be necessary for our QB without any running skills to speak of to keep the ball? The only possible time would be if the RB got taken out in the back field, which means the QB is going down behind the LOS too, so you might as well just scrap the play.

was always impressed that the kid stuck around after the pick 6 season.
