Drunk frat kid in Sports pushes Todd Champaign and mouths off for no fricking reason. Todd knocks the frick out of the dude and they tie-up with Todd pummeling they guy. Players intervene to break it up and drunk frat kid slings bottle behind his head hitting a friend of mine in the mouth (breaks a tooth). Total instigating bitch...pre-ban Theta Hi, I mean XI.

We all end up outside after Billy (the owner of Sports) kicks eveyone out. At this point Todd takes exception with the bottle incident and calls out the kid who did it (same one he just beat up). Dude swears he didnt do it while his hand drips blood everywhere.

We end up surrounding the frat bitches and someone lets out the initial punch......then the brawl began. Events were so sketchy by that time that it was hard to figure out who was doing what.

All said and done, it was started by some frat dickheads loaded with liquid courage. And, they ended up way on the short end of the stick.

I was front and center and not one player started a thing.

ETA: Art Cantrelle is somewhere lauging his arse off at how pussified the public has gotten.

My buddy dropped Thomas Dunson twice with a left hand outside of Dublin's one night back in the day.

From Sacked by Bob Brodhead, p. 78:

Arnsparger insisted that the players be given travel money and allowed to drive their own cars to Memphis. Can you imagine ninety football players, ranging in age from 18 to 22, who live for five months of the year with every second of every day planned for them, suddenly having cash, freedom and wheels in Memphis for the holdiays? Neither could Memphis, and the Liberty Bowl staff told me afterwards that the team absolutely terrorized the city for one solid week.

On the field, the quality of play certainly reflected the good times had by all. Baylor embarrassed the Tigers for four quarters, and when the gun mercifully sounded, the final score was 21-7.

There were probably a few bar fights involving LSU players that week.

He's on the Mississippi coast and you're right, he would think a little fight is nothing to get excited about.
