Right. Tie-breakers are never really hard if you have a spreadsheet open.

1. Head to head
2. Record vs. common opponents
3. Record vs. common opponent with best record
---Record vs. common opponent with next-best record
---etc
4. BCS ranking

BTW, here's a possible grid for my idea of having five permanent rivals and three rotating games (with one school having to be in the rotation twice)

School - five permanent games - semi-permanent
Alabama - AU TN MSU VU LSU - GA
Arkansas - A&M LSU OM TN KY - MSU
Auburn - AL GA FL MSU FSU - TN
Florida - FSU GA AU SC VU - LSU
Florida State - FL AU GA SC A&M - KY
Georgia - AU FL SC FSU KY - AL
Kentucky - TN VU GA AR SC - FSU
Louisiana State - OM MSU AR A&M AL - FL
Mississippi - MSU LSU VU AR TN - A&M
Mississippi State - OM LSU AL AU A&M - AR
South Carolina - GA FL FSU KY A&M - VU
Tennessee - VU KY AL OM AR - AU
Texas A&M - AR LSU MSU FSU SC - OM
Vanderbilt - TN KY OM AL FL - SC

For every school, the five schools listed first will be played every year, of course. That sixth school will be played two out of every three years. All others will be played once every three years.
