In Louisiana that would be considered an accessory to a crime (possession of a controlled substance) - which I think is a felony.

Look up your laws. Maybe if the quantity is high enough it would merit a felony but I'd be surprised if a small amount merited a felony. More like misdemeanor and or citation.
