Possible Aggie conspiracy theory

Texas A&M has no intention of going to the SEC. They're in cahoots with Missouri to scare the Big 12 into equal revenue sharing so Texas doesn't get the chunk of the pie it gets. This is a brilliant move by the Aggies.

I've heard that the Big XII offered equal revenue sharing the last couple of days and A&M declined. Too little, too late.
But dear lord of we stay...

Yeah. The tweet also said IIRC that Texas "laid the LHN on the table". Not sure what that means but I would think they are too far in with it to back out now
But maybe not. Not a single provider has picked up the network yet and it's debut is only 2 weeks away

Isn't TAMU on the plus side of the unequal revenue sharing, just not as big a piece of the pie as Texas? Wouldn't they actually lose money with equal revenue sharing?

Texas, OU and A&M are all guaranteed $20 million.
A&M and even mire so Nebraska wanted equal revenue sharing for stability

I have some good news and bad news. The good news is that if/when A&M is in the SEC, the Aggies will cash in big time and enjoy athletic department prosperity like never before.
The bad news is that whatever Texas does, they're going to cash in way more than A&M will, and they're going to be playing in a BCS bowl probably every three years while A&M is playing SMU in the Liberty Bowl.

Maybe but that I assume changes year to year. It's based on how many times you're on tv. Like a job in sales, if someone asks you how much you make and you literally don't know.

Texas athletics are getting about $4 million the first few years with the LHN. Not that much money to be honest for an AD that gets $160mil yr already

Why should TAMU trust the Big 12 minus 2? The conference continues to piecemeal agreements togther every year instead of just doing the right thing. Texas and quite a few folks are in for a real surprise when the Big 12 minus 2(or 3)finally destabilize and they lose their automatic access to a BCS game. As it is the conference is already hustling backwards.
