I've seen various posts/reports say that
UG, UF, USCe, will vote against schools from their own states entering the SEC, and if taking A&M means they have to take a GT, FSU, or Clem, they will vote against A&M.
What is the % needed to accept a new member. Is it simply majority? If so, unless acting as a bloc that none of them could really pose a threat to inviting a school to the SEC.

ah well then if the 3 act together that is a serious potential stumbling bloc.
May only take them whisperping in the ear of say LSU about how a Texas based SEC team could really hurt them to blow up the whole process

Or whispering in their ears about how A&M will be ready to stand with them as a bloc to keep any teams from all of their states from being added, Texas included of course.
