I was there and remember the crowd being extremely loud throughout the game. It was the opening game of the season and everyone had been pointing to this game all summer.
Nebraska was preseason #1 coming in and were very lucky to avoid the upset.
I also remember all the Cornhusker fans in red, there were a lot of them in the southeast corner.
Also, the biggest human being I ever saw in Tiger Stadium was the Husker's #75, OT Randy Poeschl. What a monster, and he was only a sophomore that year.
