I was there.
I remember a bit, but was so young.
I actually remember walking out of the stadium the best, the crowd was yelling down the ramps.
I remember Vince Ferragamo too.
I remember my Dad telling me pre-game that NU was number one but that they had no idea what was coming.
Nebraska was a national power.
LSU was a regional team, as we were in those days, crazy cajuns with funy names with a great, physical style of play.
Not much sizzle compared to those Big 8 teams but a LOT of crunch.

I was there as a 7 y/o and remember the crowd going crazy as the teams left the field at the end of the game. I didnt understand why everybody was so pumped about a tie.
