Dallas Alumni Party - what do you know about it

Anyone go to the tailgate party for the Cotton Bowl, $60 each, all the beer and food (burgers, etc) 6 shuttle busses? How long a wait for shuttle buses, etc.?? Is this worth $60 each, oh, also includes a parking spot but I already have that. Going to be damn hot in Dallas in 3-1/2 weeks, but what else to do while waiting for gates to open??
