In season 5 why did the Co-op have to pay Marlo $10 million for the connect?
Slim Charles worked right next to Prop Joe as one of his lieutenants for a few years. How could he have not known where to go see the Greeks? Plus, Avon was his boy. Why didn't he just go up to Jessup and talk to Avon and Sergei like Marlo did?
Cheese should have known too, or did Prop Joe not trust anyone with the connect?

I get this, BUT when Omar robbed the supply and Marlo wanted to see the connect, Slim Charles was there. He had an idea of who the connect was. All he needed was someone to point him in their direction. That someone could have been Avon or Sergei. I would try that and save the $10 million that they didn't have anyway.

You can be there for the delivery but you still won't know who/where it's coming from. The Greek wasn't going to deal with anybody he didn't trust so the only way the Co-op could have gotten the connect was if Marlo told them it was all good.

Because marlo got the connect from prop joe in a prior meeting. no one else had made contact.
Slim charles always just wanted to be a soldier until there was no other option. IMO
