Any update on tailgating limits? We went to Cotton Bowl and it was fun. Will this game be any different?

I heard that NFL games have different rules for tailgating, but that could be the pathetic pussies in Dallas.

Talk to me goose!!

Louisiana State University and the University of Oregon are colleges or Universities last time I checked...

Alright, here's what I know and I'd love it IF somebody can tell me differently because the news sucks! No rumors/heresay, please!

The parking lots at Jerry World AND adjacent baseball park don't open until five hours before the game. Most of the parking spots are for cars only..There's no tailgating or tents except on the grass parking spots and those are few so get there early. Talk to ME, Goose!

This. I went to the Arkansas and aTm game last year in Arlington. People just put the tent over the end of their bed of the truck and a little bit in the parking lot road. It is pretty much just tons of parking lots next to the stadium. Alot of people will be tailgating like this. You'll just have to make do for 1 game.

Hmmm; not too unreasonable. How early were you able to set up? Tnx GoHog

Are there any pregame parties around the stadium? These might be a better bet. I was at the Cotton Bowl and the tailgating is very limited. Parking lot does not open until 5 hours before the game. 2:00 p.m....I'm gonna be too drunk to set stuff up.

I pregamed it at my hotel ( next to the stadium). So I couldn't tell you. We were over there at least 4 hours before kickoff though. If you haven't been there yet, it is a site to see. It looks like a UFO in a big field. You will have fun.

Thanks GoHog....There's a coupla big parties in Dallas and Arlington, respectively. Think we'll check them out rather than try to haul tents, cookers, etc. for just four hours. We're looking forward to seeing ya'll later this year.

I'm tailgating in a private lot. The private lot I booked says it opens 6 hours before gametime, but for the Saints game last year I started before the lot owner showed up and it was no problem (lot was empty since it was a weekend/holiday). I found the lot through an unofficial Dallas Cowboys parking and tailgating website last year.
