I love ornamental grasses. I just like the natural look of them, and you don't have to trim them, which is a huge plus in my mind. (I have hedges right now, and I cannot wait to pull those bastards out of the ground.)
You can mix many different textures, heights, and colors, which could make for a very interesting garden.
