The LSU alums "hosting" the Cowboys Classic events are offering special hotel rates. If booked, the alum chapter gets a cut, which I am all for. However, the two hotels are in Mansfield and it says they are 12 miles from the stadium. did anyone stay in Mansfield for the Cotton Bowl?

I live in Mansfield and you will be about 20 mins from the game. Several good places to eat around there and a couple of good sports bars.

Most folks said that the traffic isn't that bad around the stadium since there are so many entrances. What about eating in Mansfield?

Dont eat in Mansfield just go up to 20 and eat at all of the restaruants in Arlington

There are several places to eat in Mansfield... But you can also go up to the Highlands in Arlington at 20 and Matlock were you can find just about anything.
