The top 3 in any debatable order should be b/w Hodson, B. Jones, and Tittle. It's funny to see how many people are ignorant as to what Tittle brought to the table. Of course he doesn't have the stats as some of the mediocre QB's in today's game but that is only because the game was completely different when he was tossing the pigskin around for the P&G. To this day he is the feature of one of the most iconic photographs in NFL history.
ETA - history side note: In the 1951 Draft Class out of 14 picks in the 1st round, three of them were from LSU, with Tittle being the highest with the #3 pick. The most of any school.

thank you not manny people admire Y.A. he is a HOF QB and the first player from LSU to be inducted if im not mistaken.

Not a single mention of Doc Fenton. Different era, ok, but he was the Mike Vick of his day.
