My mom has 10 and gets 8-9 eggs a day. Make sure the there is an area for them to shite that is removable. Otherwise you will be cleaning it very often. The eggs have much more flavor than normal eggs. They are delicious.

One thing about the coop, you must have an area for them to roost at night along with nesting boxes. I have 7 hens and 3 nesting boxes which they will use all 3 at the same time some times.
The area under were the roosting is done, put wire. They shite that asses off in that area.
