Alright, yesterday when I got the light both batteries had a charge, I put the first one on charger for about 2 hours and went play with it, it worked fine. The second battery had a charge, I put it on last night and forgot to take it off the charger this morning. I get back from work and take it off and that battery is dead. Is it just a bad battery, or will the charger kill them if you leave it too long?

Thanksjhester, how long do you charge yours typically?

Any idea what kind of battery this is? Lithium, NiCad? It's not labeled on it.

I'll probably just stick with one battery and buy a couple replacements if it dies, I keep a backup light in my hunting bag anyway.

Since you used your batteries the right way I'm going to guess it had a bad/ weak cell to begin with.

I leave mine plugged up all the time and never had any issues. I feel bad now guys. Is all the bad batteries coming from same supplier or maybe just a bad batch?

THIS! That is what happened to the first bad battery. Two more were bad for me.

They are lithium batteries. Made in China, so I think it truly is hit and miss.

My guess is that about 30-40% will have some charging issues. But everyone should get at least one good battery.

As for price.......I paid $12.95 each at Battery World. Sounds like I overpaid some.....but I think it is worth it for the quality of light we will all have come hunting season!!!

Even with additional cost, I'm not disappointed in the least!!
