JJ will perform much better this year because he will have a better coordinator and offensive line.

I agree, unfortunately I think it won't be a good surprise.
Rather people will be surprised that even with a new OC who is a QB specialist, and 3 years in the system, he will not be any better...yet he will continue to be the starter.

While I think the Heisman is ridiculous, I have been saying the same thing the past few weeks. I have not seen the players as confident in their QB in a long time. As a long-time critic of JJ, I am fully behind the kid if the players are as well.
On that same token, I can also confidently say that Mett is not going to play QB unless JJ AND JL get hurt. According to multiple players, Mett is a distant 3rd string QB at this time. However, in an effort to keep the "We want Mett" crowd off of my back, I can say that the players recognize his talent ceiling is higher than both JJ and JL's, but he has/needs to learn the position this year and take over next year.
