I like all genres of music except rap and trance, I enjoy looking at art/museums/historical points of interest. Sometimes it is just fun to hang and people watch too. Im there Thursday through Sunday this week.

Museums: Dallas has a museum district downtown. The Dallas Museum of Art is good.
Nasher Sculpture Garden is world class modern sculpture (Picasso, Brancusi, Miro and some stuff from the last few years (James Surls isolation star room). The Crowe Asian museum is good too and free. All that stuff is within walking distance of each other Dallas Arts District

Of course there is the 6th floor museum.

Ft. Worth has even better museums than dallas. The Amon Carter has western art including a bunch of remingtons. The Ft Worth Modern is really good and The Kimball is a world class art museum.

Music: I just checked the Observer, a free, weekly publication. Look at most any Whole Foods, bar, restaurant for a copy. New issues come out late wednesday or thursday. It lists music, food, etc. Slobberbone is playing Saturday night at The Grenada (on Greenville, great venue, old movie theatre). They are an old cowpunk band that re-united a couple years ago. In their prime they would rock the frick out. Haven't seen them since they re united. Dove Hunter is opening up and are one of my favorite new local bands. I may hit that show. I'll post if I do and you can buy me a beer.

Good place to watch hot, rich milfs is Northpark Mall. Tons of scenery there and its air conditioned.

You could take a walk down Katy Trail (Bike path in Uptown) around 7pm and see some serious jogging/ walking scenery too.
