Did you see the "glide and grapple travel " vid on XBL? You dont have to run everywhere anymore. The interogation tech is clutch too. nothing beats a boot to the neck for info. amirite?

The only way I see that not happening is if they sneak in Last Guardian at the last minute............pretty sure this won't happen though

Skyward sword is going to be awesome, but they'd never give a nintendo 1st party GOTY...

Arkham Asylum was a good game, but I think about half of the praise heaped onto it is a response to the fact that it flew in under the radar, was supposed to suck, but pleasantly surprised the hell out of everyone with the effort put into it. With that said, I think it's going to take a much better game to garner award consideration.

Disagree.
Yes, it was a surprise, but a good "brawler" with detective flair to it.........plus a revered comic book hero.......under the radar will only take you so far. Great game. Period. And if AC is an improvement on this game by leaps and bounds, as it's looking, I think it will be a big favorite this year.

Being a comic book game that doesn't suck is surely to its credit... I'm saying that the novelty was partially responsible for its success. You could say this about any sequel, but I think it will be even more true in this case: Now that fans are expecting to be overwhelmed rather than underwhelmed, I think there will be widespread disappointment if it doesn't improve on nearly everything we liked about the first one.
