According to their website they are a "USA-based" distributor, but the products' country of origin is China... that being said, on the "Contact Us" link, it lists the name of a Mr. Karl Turner in Westwego, LA, and they have storage facilities in New Orleans and some other states.

So, while they're not local crawfish (and I avoid Chinese when I can, but who knows what you get if you buy crawfish dishes at restaurants, really?)... there does appear to be some local benefit in their Customer Service and storage facilities being in-state? Could anyone justify their locavorism tendencies by that?

Karl Turner from Westwego apparently doesn't really give a shite, and guess what? I don't give a shite about Karl Turner. He can kiss it.
