You stop a fight if the fighter is taking unnecessary damage and can't protect himself. Not because a guy takes a couple of unanswered shots. The aesthetics actually have nothing to do with the medical/professional decision to stop a fight or let it go

He came back and WON the fight. There is no better indicator that a fighter is ok than him coming back and beating up the other guy.

exactly. is there nothing worse than a ref stoppage and the guy gets up and casually walks back to his corner.

on the other hand, just as bad is the yves lavine catastrophe with the matt brown fight where they called the fight, and then decided to restart it 2 seconds later.

I was joking about stopping the Brock fight, I just said that because everyone on here says that when they rip on Brock. I really do think Carwin is the best HW though and I think he will prove me right tonight.
