Negredo wasn't exactly burning it. But Ream's problem won't be athleticism. It's awareness and body positioning. He gets his hips in bad positions.

He needs to learn to get his shoulders parallel with a sideline and move vertically without turning his hips. He'll be fine. I hope he starts. I thought he was bad, but only a couple of times (albeit really bad times). Canada shouldn't give him trouble.

Assuming wins versus the People's Republic tonight, and the Canal Jockeys on Saturday, I think he starts versus Canteloupe.

I think we see Gooch until then.

This might be the biggest flaw in his game in general. You could extrapolate that and say most US defenders struggle in that department.
