Jumbo Package vs Oregon

I know I'm gonna hear it for this, but here goes. How would the occasional 'Jumbo Pkg' work vs Oregon? I've read about having as much speed on the field as possible, but I've also read about blowing up plays in the back field. Maybe a 5-1-5.
Let's hear it!

I wouldn't mind seeing Brockers at NT and Freak and Ego playing the ends in our Mustang package to mix it up instead of Sam and Mingo.
I guess your Jumbo package would have Sam and Mingo playing outside of them with Baker as the LB.
Dbs of course would be Reid, Taylor(or Loston), Simon, Mo, and T Rex

Think you need a combination of both up front, especially going into Q4. Big n' slow may get us through the first half but the Ducks try to run a play every 8 seconds. If we go Jumbo, we need a big lead early to hang onto late. I think we'll match up pretty well, especially on D, but Miles has to get our kids ready for the pace. If possible, Kelly will try to pick it up even more. We'll probably see more plays in this game than we will in any game all season. That's how I see it.

This is going better than I thought at this point.
Something else I thought about is this should be good for making them burn at least one time out the first time they see it. A break for our boys, and one less for them in a close game late.

this jumbo could work as long as mingo lines up on the strong side because he is athletic enough to gaurd a releasing TE

That package with brockers, ego, freak, Sam, and mingo might be really effective, at the right times.

Personally, I think that's suicide. Puts a ton of pressure on the DBs to make tackles. Oregon will get outside on that group then it's open field tackling with Oregon WRs throwing blocks.
I think LSU will be better off keeping Oregon contained with speed and quickness.

i have said this for years as far as playing against runnings qb's. make him get rid of the ball, and dont allow olinemen to get downfield and create larger running lanes.
