Requirements are that you think you are good enough that you pay 250 to enter.
For me the contest is more about who has the best technique rather than who makes the best since you are limited on ingredients.

I knew about the ingredients and wood fire rules.
It's kind of the IROC of cooking challenges.
Just sad that any goofball with $250 can compete. Just because you have the money don't mean you can cook. Bill Gates probably sucks at cooking.
