Yea, I'm a "tad" older..... LOL I remember getting electricity and indoor plumbing and went to a one room school. LOL

I've got a granddaughter that just got accepted to PSU. Tried to get her to become a Duck, she's just young and wants to be close to her "BF". Stupid reason in my opinion.

Nice! Oakridge is a nice area. I live out in the Tigard area myself. Nothing wrong with being a tad older though! More wise in my opinion. My dad was class of '68 at CC and was two year's below Joey Harrington's dad and in the same class as his uncle. Funny thing is much of the old part of CC still remains intact so outside of retrofitting and different paint the old wing is pretty much the same as it was back then.

As for your granddaughter choosing the 'stay closer to her boyfriend approach,' it's kind of unfortunate. Not to say that it will not work out as I have seen one case of it working out (though with more than enough rough points) but unfortunately there are way more cases I've seen where it ended up not working out. That said the park blocks are a nice area and it is cheaper to go up there. Eugene is such a nice area though.....
