As I continue to say, I don't think O'Bryant will be a huge scorer initially, but I think he'll more than make up for that on the defensive end, rebounding, and shot blocking.

Agreed TA. As I continue to say, given Trent's defensive philosiphy of never doubling the post or even helping, having bigs with the size of Hamilton and O'Bryant at least afford us a chance to defend the post.

I also think as Storm showed at the end of the year, when healthy he can contribute, but all he and White brought to the table on the defensive post was the ability to consistently foul.

Physical presence in the post in and of itself will help the team tremendously.

Now we have to hope Hickey can help IMHO the most pressing weakness on the team.

Hamilton will surprise all. He is 7 foot 260 pounds. He is 2 inches taller than O'Bryant. NIH does not know what he is talking about in regards to hamilton. Not saying he will be an all sec guy but expecting 14/9 is not out of range.

Trent said recently that they are going to front the post this year, which means they will have to have help on the backside. He's changing his offensive and defensive philosophy this season and I like what he plans to do.
