This is true,but will help the deer due to the fact they will have to compete for food once they move outside the spillway.

I know where we hunt South of Morgan City in the marsh, the deer are crossing the Intracoastal to to levees where they will end up dropping their fawns and when the water goes back down the mature deer will go back to the marsh and the fawns will be left behind, they wont be able to make it back across......
