#25 currently according to Boyd (unofficial but close to accurate)
#23 currently according to Warren Nolan (unofficial and generally not as accurate as Boyd)

With 64 teams in the tourney, barring being swept by state, how can we not make it?

It's an odd situation to say the least...but, they REALLY want you in your conference tourney and I think we can all see where that fits in

In 2006 when LSU didn't make the tourney as the #8 seed in Hoover LSU was around 35 in the RPI.
However that was when Larry Templeton (Miss. St.) was chair of the selection committee...
