If they finish at 13-17. Could be a dangerous 3 seed in Tempe or Austin

Not to be a wet blanket, but do you really thing a team should make the regionals if they can't even make it into their own conference tournament?

We're nowhere near "dangerous" if we're outside the Box.

At fricking Hattiesburg we are. LSU would beat Southern Miss 8 out of 10 times. They are terribly overrated.

I would hope that after being sent to UCLA last year, everyone would have learned by now that ANYTHING is possible.
That being said, if USM hosts a regional and if LSU gets in and goes to that regional, that would be a "best-case scenario"

I agree with that.

quote:Bertman (the Skip Type) said during an interview with Ronnie Rance - sp - Saturday - that LSU stands a very good chance of making a regional if their RPI is under 35 - even if they didn't make the SEC tourney. Skip served on the NCAA selection comm during the last decade.

When you are in the SEC, yes.

Not to mention H-Burg would become Baton Rouge east

And GMorgan could do the play by play thread from the ballpark...
