By tomorrow BR river level will be highest since 1945

Currently in 8th all-time at 43.65 and record of 47.5 is forecast without Morganza open. Another 4 feet (or less if Morganza is open) to go!

Actually your statement is factually incorrect when you view the all time high levels, it says right there n the map that it was higher in 1997.
