I don't see why you would say that. Correct me if I am wrong, but bama changes their logo every year they win a NC. For instance, 2 years ago ESPN would always use the #12 helmet, but this past year it changed to a #13 helmet (13 National Championships). Other than the helmet, what does bama have as a logo the has "with stood the test of time"?

Well, BAMA has used that single "A" for quite some time and it's very recognizable as being BAMA. that being said, they revised their logo around the same time LSU did to sort of make it more easily reproduced and they came up with this.
It's a shite ton better than our tiger.
In case you guys didn't know, this is the design firm responsible for LSU's "new" logo. If you flip through some of what they've done, you'll see that SOME of it's ok, but in my opinion most of it sucks. If you want to assign blame for what we have, it rests solely with whoever at LSU signed off on the crap Phoenix presented to them.
