I thought they were giving custom playbooks?
The updated visuals and effects look great. When I play a college game, I love it when the atmosphere of the game day is well captured.

They are however that info was leaked by different sites that went to Community Days and not EA itself. EA did eventually confirm that custom playbooks are in the game but they haven't released their blog on it yet that will go in to detail about it.
