Ever heard of walking deer down? I suspect that if you had you would understand how ignorant you are, so I'm assuming you haven't.

If the terrain were different in the south you would likely see hunting methods change. If I can hunt an area where I can see hundreds of yards, that's where I hunt. And never over bait. Once the areas I have access to have grown up and visibility decrease I will hunt bait sometimes. Best bait is natural bait. Find what they are eating and get there.
