Ingram, Bowers, Jordan....

I dont know how you pass on Ingram, he is going to be big for some team out there and it could have been our back who could have taken alot of pressure off of Brees. This guy works hard and winning a heisman shows that.
Bowers would have been a much better choice than Jordan...
Dont understand the logic here, the saints are known for picking way outside the lines on what you think they will take!!

I get Ingram, but Bowers was once talked about in the #1 overall pick discussion and by pick 26 he is still on the board. You don't think there is a reason for that? Seriously not a concern?

I'll say it again. if they didn't pick Bowers, I trust that they did due diligence and the knee issues are very real.
As far as Ingram, I did want them to get him but be realistic, we needed more DL help.

Bowers wouldn't get cleared by several NFL teams...Id rather Jordan who is healthy

Bowers is facing serious knee surgery. One website predicted his career in the NFL would last 3 years. I'm glad the Saints didn't pick him because of the injury factor.
I am ecstatic about the Cam Jordan pick. I din't dream he'd still be there at #24.

The Saints aren't the only team to pass on Bowers, there is something seriously wrong with his knee.
The need for a DE was much greater than the need at RB.

I guess you'll have to ask the other 25 teams...probably because he has an injury history, plays a position of little value, and its a very deep RB draft

Reggie Bush won a Heisman

This. History shows you can get quality RBs EASILY in the later rounds. I'm a firm believer in not drafting a RB early unless he is the complete package. Speed, burst, vision and power. Ingram has future health concerns and he isn't that fast. DE is a glaring need, almost to the point where the Saints had no choice but to get a DE. They got a top 15 talent at 24, they did good...
Ingram wouldn't be a bad pick, the Saints probably just weighed it against what they must draft.

Ingram did win a Heisman, but Trent Richardson is worth a high first rounder not Ingram. he will be the better RB to come from Bama
