I like all types of food, just looking for some quality places to eat. I don't need fine dining, but anywhere between good BBQ to a place like Boucherie. Anything you think would be worth checking out. I will have a rental car up there, so a little travel can be done.
And I am down for some good sushi.

Twisted root burger-Local chain that is pretty good. If you want a really good burger, come down to Deep Ellum and eat at Angry Dog.

Grew up in Plano but it's been a while since I lived there. I would add Chuy's tex-mex to the list. There are some decent places in the Legacy & Tollway entertainment area. As mentioned, Plano is sort of chain-restaurant heaven but it has them all.
There is also a very small place that has a fairly authentic lobster roll called Sea Breeze.
