overly proud? i don't think so. first off the kid is what 5' 6" the first in that class to earn a starting job, 900 miles from home, busts his arse, does what he's asked to do, and your gonna take a shot at him and single him out?

Distance from home has to do what about his necklaces or performance? Nothing. I've lived 2000 miles from home for 6 years and performed at a high level.

What does that have to do with anything? This is baseball not basketball and he is an infielder
