Haven't been following this board that much since the Cotton Bowl. Are there any legs to this thing on HBO or the Peterson thing?

As much as people don't want to admit it .... every program is dirty ... including ours ... and if the NCAA comes sniffing around they'll find something. It's never good to have the NCAA on your campus.

people say that all the time.. but i dont know that its accurate..
Auburn probably did nothing wrong in the Cam situation, and there is absolutely NO reason to believe that LSU did anything wrong with PP..
just because some guys decide they want to make some extra cash 4 years after the fact, doesnt make people guilty..

As far as the HBO thing and "$500 handshakes", impossible to prove or substantiate.

What could possibly give you that assumption? This is after Cam's dad asked for money and 4 players just came out discussing improper benefits.

this thing on HBO

the Peterson thing

They might as well put every football program on probation now because everybody is looking for the loopholes and with the high stakes and pressure on coaches they'll wink and turn the other way.
USC should've gotten far worse sanctions than they did for Reggie Bush.
Knowing the NCAA, they'll probably make an example out of someone before too long yet teams like Ohio St etc get to move on.

I felt like OSU players being allowed to play in the Sugar Bowl was the most embarrassing thing for the NCAA as of yet.
The NCAA will do whatever they can so as long as bowl execs can make bank though.

Will be interesting to see how they handle the Fiesta Bowl situation.

The Ohio St Sugar bowl deal was embarassing especially since AJ Green was suspended at the beginning of the year for pretty much the same thing

of course, the NCAA is so mad at Ohio St, Auburn, and LSU right now that they are gonna give the Death Penalty to ULL, Appalachian St, and Miami (OH)!!!!

Of course it's true, now whether there is enough there for anything to happen especially considering it's a sideshow in a slew of truthfull accusations, doubtfull

Someone must pay as they have now embarrassed the NCAA. They will take the fake tiger over the real one.
