What is the obsessions with trading with the damn Jazz for no account Harris and Favors?
If we did move CP3, I say send him to the Clippers for Eric Bledsoe, Aminu, DeAndre Jordan and some firsts for CP3 and someone else to make it work.

Carl Landry is not an even trade with Thornton...
Carl Landry is a vet, and past his prime over 2 seasons ago... He may have been putting up some decent numbers lately, but he doesnt have the potential to get better like Thornton does.... In fact, if D. West doesnt go down then the guy is the 3rd or 4th big man off the bench behind West, Okafor, and (depending on how the game is going) anyone of our larger/more defensive minded bigs. While Landry is a solid player, he is no stud and will never play any better than he is right now.... in fact, he is a lesser player than D. west and will be 28 next season already
Thornton has been an extremely efficient young guard in this league to date, with a P.E.R. (player efficiency rating to those who dont know)that is in the top 10-15 SG's in the NBA. He has thus far exhibited excellent shooting touch and range, and is shooting almost .500 from the floor since the trade to Sacremento, and is shooting over.400 from the 3 point line.... These are standout percentages for guards, this kid can stroke it. Furthermore, Thornton is FARRRR from reaching his potential, and at this point will be given every opportunity to get there as the Kings will pair him with their former R.O.Y. PG Tyreke Evans, and let them run the floor... Additionally, since getting Thornton, the Kings have won 7 games or so, when they have a total of 20 wins on the season... and he's still only 23....
Point is the Hornets did F-up.... they should have never traded Bayless for Jack--- we basically spent the 1st rounder we used on Bayless for a 5 year Vet who is nothing better than a decent back-up PG with some versatility to play a little SG as well, which was a very bad decision... Also, trading Thornton for Landry was not a good trade and I'm sure the Kings were ecstatic to unload Landry for a player paid far less money, that is younger with a far higher ceiling.... let me add that it is hard to find SG's with range out to the 3 point line, that can slash like Thornton can, and play physical when neccessary - Just ask the Hornets, we have had Horrid SG play for years now....
