OK, here's what I did. I went through each team thoroughly, analyzing starting lineups, starting pitching, relievers, and overall depth. Then, i assigned a rank (1-12) for overall hitting and overall pitching. I used those two numbers to come up with an average score.

In the case of a tie between two teams, I chose the team that I thought I had the best chance to win when taking into account bench players and overall depth.

Please note that these are rankings for this year alone. Having prospects didn't necessarily hurt you, but it didn't help you.

I'll make one post for each team, with some remarks, and then make a separate post with my overall rankings.

CE Tiger

Hitting
Some nice pieces in the infield with Miggy and Zimmerman. The outfield is a little shaky, although I think Bruce tears it up this year. Bench options aren't terrible, but none of them really make me moist.
Ranking: 6th

Pitching
Ugh. Not a fan of this staff at all. I don't consider Sabathia a true fantasy ace these days, and while Morrow and Volquez have potential, there are question marks. Lewis, Dempster, and Kuroda aren't terrible leanback options. James Shields can eat my arse with a spoon.
Ranking: 12th

Overall
I think this team may have a few too many holes to fill over the course of the season. However, I will never underestimate one's ability to be a waiver wire/free agent hawk. All things equal though, this team will be home for the playoffs.
Ranking: 10th

I've never had Shields on my fantasy team, and for good reason. He's a sack of frick.

I'm dealing with a screaming newborn right now, guys. Give me a few minutes. Dumbass Cajuns is next on the list, followed by Tthomas and Reds Dead.
