Why is CP3 so reluctant to shoot the ball?!!

Why does he REFUSE to shoot the ball??? There were several times when he had a wide-open lane for a LAYUP... a freakin' layup and dished it off so that Willie Green could throw up another brick or airball. WTF Paul?!!
