quote:I also noticed this
We noticed in an episode of King of Queens that they exchanged a Civil War dvd set with a WWI set. It wouldn't have been so obvious if they hadn't talked about it specifically. It had to have been shot on two different days because every time the camera angle switched, so did the dvd set.

its not up to the editor to take care of this .. its the on set crew (props/on set dresser) and ultimately the script supervisor to monitor continuity .. a close eye and diligent team will help with the mistakes.
Now, saluting incorrectly and the like .... that's on the producers if they don't pony up for a military expert to be on set ...
i watched shawshank the other day for the first time in a while and it some glaring issues ... one of which was a Hank williams album that was his greatest hits .. that is all on the Art department and them not doing their homework. That album came out 30 years after the date in the movie.
