i'm 26. i remember davis very well. he was a backup to toefield until his senior season. that should tell you something. and no, he didn't share many carries with shyrone carey. carey didn't come around really until 2003 when davis was already gone. carey was a freshman when davis was a senior. davis was a solid back, no doubt, but no he was not the best lsu had in the decade, and quite frankly maybe not even in the top 5

He still rushed for over 1,000 yards combined in those years prior to 2002 along with 13 TDs. in his senior year he had one of the highest YPCs of any LSU backs of the decade and nearly rushed for 1,000 yards in 11 starts.

that toefield was also a good back? toefield played a few years in the NFL, it's not like he was a scrub.

you're being a rantard if you think there are five better LSU backs in the 2000s than Davis.
