I'm so glad you follow basketball recruiting closely to know that guys like Ross Neltner, Jaime Loreda, Tac Minor, Darrel Mitchell, Chris Johnson, Magnum Rolle and Anthony Randolph were all from Baton Rouge. And isn't one of the jobs of a coach to keep talent in your back yard at home? And to somewhat defend TJ, there is certainly a lack of that backyard talent like Taz, Big Baby, Brandon Bass and Tyrus Thomas latley. Most of our players now are from out of state which is a hard pull.

nelter, quit, out of b.b.
loreda, quit in the middle of the s.e.c. sched.
tac minor, quit, out of b.b.
mitchell, not from baton rouge, however, st martinville isn't far away. good lsu career.
roll, quit, went to la tech, out of b.b.
johnson, never really played under brady, good senior year under johnson
randolph, one and done. never made the tourney with him. n.b.a. player.

that's some star studded recruiting outside of baton rouge! you actually used these as your examples of the great recruiting bady did.
